[ Our Vision ]

It is our vision to revolutionize the world of prosthetics. It is our goal as a company to change the way people of every age, physical condition, and culture view 'disability'. We are dedicated to building products that allow those who can walk to run, and those who can run to fly- down slopes on skis, across water on surfboards, or up the sides of a vertical stone wall- whatever they desire.

We work to ease the hopelessness felt when an amputee wakes up from surgery to find himself/herself less whole than they were just hours before. We will do this by creating products which will allow them to continue to live the lives they love, because we know that they can do anything they desire, and we will create whatever it takes to do it !

We believe we can shift a worldwide paradigm by taking the technological opportunities found here, to less fortunate lands in charitable efforts supported by a portion of our proceeds.

Symbiotechs USA was founded by extreme athlete/amputee and cancer survivor Jarem Frye. With a background in prosthetics testing, Aerospace CNC machining and product design, Jarem has put his years of experience as an amputee to work, creating prosthetic designs that allow amputees to achieve the activities many have always wanted to do but thought were impossible with an artificial limb. As a result, he has become the first AK amputee telemark skier in the world, the first AK amputee wake boarder, overall rock climbing champion at the 2006 eXtremity Games, and has risen to new levels in many other sports previously impossible, or nearly impossible, for amputees using a prosthesis.

As a cancer survivor Jarem's goal is to live life to the fullest. As a prosthetics company, our goal is to change the way the world thinks about disability and artificial limbs. We work under an entirely different mindset than most prosthetics designers. Our prosthetics are engineered with ambition, not pity. We believe in the ability of every amputee out there who has a dream to reach beyond what disability to a life of fulfillment on an artificial limb.

We see prosthetics, not just as a way for people with “disabilities” to “still do a lot of things;” we see prosthetics as a tool for athletes who have suffered the loss of a limb to do everything they once did, to the same level as they once did right along side any non amputee!

The science of building artificial limbs has always been looked at as a way to help people "get by". That goal has been met effectively, and now we are here to take prosthetics to the next level. We are designing limbs to help amputees get the most out of life, not just to get by.
