>"Hey just wanted to send ya some pictures of the XT9 (which I love so very much) in action at the USASA nationals snowboarding competition in March. I hope to take it down to the extermity games in Orlando this summer as well. I LOVE YOU GUYS! Thanks so much."

>"I just came across your site today and have a couple questions. First, I am an AK amputee and have been very active, but after watching the video on the site i was amazed. I have skiied, but never with the leg on. I just have a couple questions about the XT9 knee itself. It looks like a spring shock which I guess helps to bend the knee and spring it back up so you can flex for activities like skiing, etc... is this correct? I tried to play softball, but my main problem was not being able to bend on the proshtetic side with any confidence.
Also, is this knee pretty much designed only for the high end activities? How does it function to actually just walk on it? Currently I am on a C leg and use a Mauch SNS for running and climbing, but would love to check the XT9 out.
Thanks."

>"Nicole Roundy here! Just wanted to pop in and let you know that I love the XT9! I'm cruising powder, landing jumps, riding rails. Its awesome and I'm doing so much more than I thought possible. Lets just see how far we can push it eh? :) I'm hitting nationals at Northstar in two weeks and hope to get some footage for ya. Have a good one and let me know if you would like to ride sometime. I have a pass at Park City and ride a few times a week. THANKS BUNDLES, YOU GUYS ARE GREAT!!!"

>"I received an e-mail asking about my knowledge of your product and was caught totally unaware. I am interested in your knee unit as well as the other components. Have been looking for a “Hardened” knee for active duty military personnel. Are you exhibiting in Chicago this week? If so what booth number? Is there more information regarding the knee unit you can share?"

>"I have read all of the activities it has been designed or improved for. But,
what about everyday walking, running, bicycling, jumping rope,
etc...............
>"...I already have a C-Leg, which of course is not water-proof, requires charging
every night, etc.......
I already have a Total Knee with a flex-run foot, utilizied specifically for
running.
I already have a Mauch knee with a Ceterus foot, designed specifically for
multi-sports and exercise.
I already have a Hosmer knee with a Renegade foot, designed specifically for
every day use and walking.
I also have a swimming leg ordered.
so you can see my point, as it seems like I have a leg for every use. Does
this leg, allow you to combine activiites, ie: is it a good walker, good
runner, good hiking leg, good bicycle leg, etc..........
I become very interested when I see the activities and the statement that it
was made to endure extreme climates including cold weather, water, sun and
dirt.
I have blown out two Mechanical (hydraulic) legs, one Hosmer, and one Mauch. I
have had C-leg freeze up on me when I was flying on a air plane, and a
stewardess spilled water on my leg, and had to walk stiff legged out of the
airport. I have ran for cover, when it started raining and I was wearing my
C-Leg. I have had my Mechanical leg, start rusting, after washing my truck and
doing yard work. I have had my mechanical leg, stiffen up when I visited Iowa
in Zero degree weather. So you can see, I have had my experiences with
different types of legs.
I am very high activity, run, walk, jump, bike, sports, etc........... but I
think the ultimate test would be day to day activities in the military. I have
requested to stay in the Army, and continue my career. I can see this leg
possibly being exposed to very harsh elements, ie: taking a knee on gravel,
dirt, rocks, etc... being exposed to salt water, extreme temperatures, shock,
dust, etc..."

>"I am interested in snowboarding, rock climbing, skiing, and many others. I have gone skiing before and after my injury. I went to the Hartford Ski Spectacular with Disabled Sports USA. While i was there I was told that AK amputees never ski on a prosthesis. I knew there had to be a way.
I am very interested in learning how to do the kinds of things that I have seen you do in the pictures and on the video in your web site. Any new prosthetic that can allow an AK amputee to do those things is amazing. I have already mentioned the XT9 to other AKs at Walter Reed Army Medical Center in Washington DC."

>"hey guys, i was kicked to your website by a friend, and was way impressed. Im a bk living in colorado, and after a climbing accident in 02, (I fell 100 feet, shattered
everything you can imagine), and now am back to both the climbing levels I once did, and the mtb bike levels. Actually i think Im biking better because now I love to chase down 2 leggeds on the trail and pass them. its great motivation. i loved you website, its always great to see one legged folks having a blast. and it got me psyched for ski season."
